    This is a great park for the kids to play ball games or ride bikes. I would really love for the council to give it an upgrade though as it is so close to the beach some water spouts or other water play ground would be fun.

    Great park for all ages with a good range of park equipment. Sand base for playground and lots of open space. The adjoining beach is calm with some nice sandy patches that are shaded by nearby trees, perfect for young children. Good parking and toilets available.

    Th8s place is excellent...bar-b-ques...picnics....swim...play ball...play ground for kids...shade cloth over tables....exerise play ground as well.... walks...bike riding...scooter riding.....enjoy to the fullest....well known as Thompson Beach after the fishing family that has lived here for generations..

    Nice family park. Sandy beach, BBQ, swings, shade trees etc.

    Always have a good time with my kids here. Lots of space, play equipment t and near the water. Great in summer
